Biography
Sarah Kokernot (she/her) is originally from Lexington, Kentucky. Her writing has appeared in
The Best American Short Stories, Michigan Quarterly Review, Crazyhorse, Front Porch, West Branch, The New York Times, and elsewhere. She received an MFA in creative writing at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. In addition to working as an Artist in Residence at Northwestern, Sarah is the Program Curator at StoryStudio, a nonprofit creative writing center in Chicago. She is currently editing her first novel.
