Biography
Catharine Regan (Ph.D. University of Illinois) taught Old and Middle English at Northwestern from 1966-1999. She was the author of articles on typology and orality in literature and commentary notes for the Oxford edition of John Trevisa's translation of Bartholomaeus Anglicus's
De proprietatibus rerum.
